The fifth hole is a gem. A solid par four that demands a tee shot up the left side. You may be rewarded with a nice kick off the undulated fairway towards the center. Do not venture too far to the right, Tradition’s version of “Hell Bunker” awaits any errant shot. The only way out is with a wedge. The second shot is a mid to long iron to a green protected on the right by water, and mounds to the left. The green is deceptive, the front of the green slopes from front to back. So, a high soft shot is needed.
